According to media, rep
orts about fielding Maryam Nawaz as Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate on National Assembly seat in the upcoming general election were circulating in political circles.
The PML-N leadership, while confirming th
ese reports, has said that Maryam Nawaz will contest the next general election as PML-N candidate from Islamabad NA-48 and a seat in Lahore. However, there is no substance in the rep
orts about immediate contesting of election by Maryam Nawaz on National Assembly seat from Lahore.
