ISLAMABAD: A
ccountability court has suspended the arrest warrants of Raja Pervez
Ashraf in GEPCO case regarding illegal re
cruitment reference.
An a
ccountability court on Tuesday suspended the arrest warrant of former prime
minister and PPP leader Raja Pervez
Ashraf against surety bonds of Rs 0.5 million.
The lawyers of
Ashraf assured the court that he would appear personally in the court on next hearing.
It is pertinent to mention here that a
ccountability court ha
d issued warrants of arrest of
Ashraf due to non-appearance in court in GEPCO case.
