KARACHI: Over 100 endangered gre
en turtles, mainly found in tropical and subtropical waters, ‘mysteriously’ appeared on the coast of the city.

en turtles on the Sandspit beach.
The gre
en turtles are classified as endangered by WWF due to excessive harvesting of their eggs, hunting of the adults, being caught in fishing gear and loss
of nesting beach sites.
