ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Secretary Information Fawad Chaudhary on Saturday said that it is the party’s right to claim the slot of Senate opposition leader.
Addressing a press c
onference along with several other party leaders, Fawad said that PTI has the right to bag opposition leader seat.
He added that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)’s nomination of Sherry Rehman
for the seat is ‘calibri part two’ claiming that the party has penned fake signatures of Senators to nominate Rehman.
Taking jibes at PML-N president and Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the PTI lawmaker said that Shehbaz has spent Rs 900 billion but has failed to improve the standards of education and health in the province.

tention towards Nawaz Sharif, the PTI information secretary said the cases against Sharif and family are entering their last phase. “Nawaz has accepted to owning property in UK, and so has his sons, soon they will be charged,
” said Fawad.
He also lauded PTI chief Imran Khan for ‘restricting’ PML-N to succeed in Senate chairman elections, while he also said that Sheikh Rasheed would be an ‘ideal’ candidate for caretaker prime minister spot.
